Here’s the 2025 Children’s and Family Emmy Awards Winners List (Updating)

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced 2025’s Children’s and Family Emmy Awards winners during a ceremony at Television City in Los Angeles on Saturday night (March 15).
Hosted by Eric Bauza, the third annual Children’s and Family Emmy Awards honored the “pinnacle of creativity and innovation in children’s entertainment,” NATAS says.

During Saturday’s main ceremony, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Velveteen Rabbit, Orion and the Dark and Sesame Street projects each took home two awards.

Percy Jackson won best young teen series as well as directing for a single-camera live-action series for “I Accidentally Vaporize My Pre-Algebra Teacher,” in a tie with “The Big City” episode of A Real Bug’s Life; The Velveteen Rabbit won best fiction special, and star Phoenix Laroche won younger performer in a preschool, children’s or young teen program; Orion and the Dark won best animated special, and voice actor Jacob Tremblay won younger voice performer in a preschool, children’s or young teen program; Sesame Workshop’s Elmo and Jesse Remember Uncle Jack won best short form live-action program, and Sesame Street‘s Leslie Carrara-Rudolph won outstanding puppetry performer.

More awards will be announced in a separate creative arts ceremony.

Outside of competitive categories, Fran Brill (performer and puppeteer, Sesame Street and The Muppet Show) received the lifetime achievement award from The Muppets‘ Dave Goelz.

Additionally, honors for individual achievement in animation were given to Merry Little Batman‘s Philip Vose (background designer), Elena Najar (animation supervisor) and Guillaume Fesquet (art director); Orion and the Dark‘s Miho Tomimasu and Lauren Zurcher (visual development artists); Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire‘s Lesego Vorster (character designer); and Snoopy Presents: Welcome Home, Franklin’s David Lux (storyboard artist).

Jonathan Majors Says He Endured ‘Sexual Abuse From Both Men And Women’ As A Child: ‘I Was F****d Up’

Actor Jonathan Majors opened up about the sexual abuse he faced as a child, revealing that he was only 9 years old when he experienced “sexual abuse from both men and women.” The 35-year-old star shared his story in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, adding that he was 8 years old when his father left him, leaving him vulnerable to abuse by people who were supposed to care for him.

“In the absence of a father. I was f***ed up,” Majors told The Hollywood Reporter.

Majors, who is close with his mother, said he discussed his experience with her, and she apologized for failing to protect him.

“I’m like, ‘It’s not even an issue, Mom. I just want you to know,’” the actor said about their conversation. “And now we can all get busy and continue to connect and grow and learn from it, because it’s something that was in our family.”

Why did Jonathan Majors get arrested in New York City in 2023?

Majors faced another setback in 2023 when he was arrested in New York City for allegedly getting into an altercation with his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. The actor was found guilty of misdemeanor assault in the third degree, as well as recklessly causing physical injury and harassment in the second degree. Following his conviction, Marvel Studios fired him. Jabbari later dropped a separate civil lawsuit she filed against him in November.

FBI Warns Gmail and Outlook Users About Scheme Via Ransomeware

The FBI has issued a warning about ransomware threats targeting the United States Postal Service and Gmail and Outlook users. According to the agency, the Medusa ransomware gang—an organization that has been active since 2022—is behind the attacks. In its advisory statement, the FBI explained that Medusa operates using a double extortion model, encrypting victims’ data and then threatening to publicly release their personal information if a ransom is not paid.

Who is the Medusa ransomware group?

According to CCN, Medusa emerged in 2022 and has gained notoriety in the years since. The group primarily targets Windows systems by exploiting compromised accounts. Medusa has attacked several high-profile organizations, including the Minneapolis Public School District, which has an enrollment of 30,000 people. After the hackers accessed sensitive documents, including allegations of teacher abuse and psychological reports, the district refused to pay the ransom, CCN reported.

Who is affected by the attacks from the Medusa ransomware gang?

More than 300 individuals and organizations in the medical, education, legal, insurance, technology, and manufacturing industries have been affected by the attack since February, per Al.com. The hackers use phishing emails to trick recipients into clicking malicious links, which then steal their personal information until a ransom is paid.

What does the FBI advise to protect people from hackers online?

According to Forbes, the FBI advises individuals to enable two-factor authentication, particularly for email services such as Gmail and Outlook. The agency also recommends using a VPN when accessing sensitive data. Additionally, the FBI suggests using long passwords and warns against frequent password changes, as this can weaken security. Users are also advised to regularly update their firmware and remain vigilant for suspicious activity.

How much ransom do the Medusa hackers demand?

The Medusa hackers have demanded up to $15 million from some organizations, The Hacker News reported.

“If victims refuse to pay, the group threatens to publish the stolen data on their data leaks site,” the Symantec Threat Hunter Team told The Hacker News.

Coffee Creamer Recalled: Here Are The Brands Affected In These 31 States

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced the recall of more than 75,000 International Delight creamer bottles across several states. Danone, the parent company of International Delight, initiated the recall on Feb. 21 after receiving “complaints of spoilage and illness with the use of the products,” the FDA stated.

“International Delight acknowledges a texture issue affecting two of its creamers,” Danone North America said in a statement, per USA Today. “We take every concern to heart, because this is not the quality we strive for.”

What are the two International Delight Creamer brands that are recalled?

The two recalled creamer flavors are Hazelnut International Delight Coffee Creamer and Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll International Delight Coffee Creamer. The Hazelnut creamer has a best-used-by date of July 3, 2025, while the Cinnabon Classic is marked for July 2, 2025. The recall number for Hazelnut is F-0626-2025, and its UPC is 0 41271 02565 2. For Cinnabon Classic, the recall number is F-0625-2025, and the UPC is 0 41271 01993 3.

Why did International Delight Creamer recall its products?

Danone stated that the recalled products did not meet “quality standards because of premature spoilage that caused a texture issue.”

“While we know this is disappointing for our creamer fans, testing data has confirmed that this is not a food safety issue,” the company said. “We chose to voluntarily recall these isolated products out of an abundance of caution while we address the quality issue.”

The FDA has categorized the recall as a class 2 risk level, according to Health. This classification means consuming the creamers “may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences,” the FDA states. The likelihood of serious health consequences is considered “remote.”

Where were the International Delight Creamer brands shipped?

The creamers were distributed across 31 states, including Alabama, Colorado, Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois. Other affected states include New York, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, and Ohio.

The FDA advises consumers to discard the recalled creamers if purchased. Those experiencing illness should seek medical attention. To report concerns, consumers can call the International Delight Consumer Care Line at 1-800-441-3321. The company states it will “gather your information and help make it right.”

What other products did International Delight Creamer recall recently?

In October, International Delight recalled more than 10,000 bottles of its “Home Alone” Peppermint Mocha Zero Sugar coffee creamer due to a labeling issue, according to Health. Although the bottles were labeled as “zero sugar,” the creamer contained sugar, posing a health risk for individuals who need to monitor their sugar intake.

“Standout song for me,” says Role Model, aka Tucker Harrington Pillsbury, in an accompanying interview clip with the station released on Thursday (March 13) while he’s on the road with his band, playing sold-out shows in Brooklyn and Boston this weekend and returning as opener on Gracie Abrams‘ Secret of Us Tour this summer.

He stumbled upon the Red-era song while working on his sophomore studio album, 2024’s Kansas Anymore.

As Role Model recalls, “I was constantly adding songs to my playlist, like a music inspo playlist, and this one I came across. I had no idea Taylor Swift and Phoebe Bridgers were on a song together. I’m scared to say it, but I think Phoebe brought me into the Taylor Swift world — which is great.”

“She’s incredible,” he says of Swift. “She’s one of the best songwriters of our generation.”

“Nothing New,” a song that didn’t make the cut on the original Red album in 2012 but resurfaced amidst the 2021 re-recording of the set, has Swift contemplating her shelf life as a promising young pop-country star; verses are traded with Bridgers, who also lends harmony to the chorus and bridge. Swift and Bridgers brought the song to the stage for the first time on May 5, 2023 in Nashville, the first of several nights the Punisher singer-songwriter joined the lineup of the The Eras Tour.

“I love the chorus and [how] it changes slightly every time,” says Role Model of “Nothing New,” explaining why he went where he did with his interpretation of the tune. “It just feels good, like, ‘I’ve had too much to drink tonight’ — I wanna scream it and dance to it. So that’s why we added drums and a little bit of twang to it. I wanted to bump up the tempo just a little bit, add drums and bring it into the world of Kansas Anymore. Just give it a little warmth and a slight dance-y groove, and some twang. We had the peddle steel come in. I just wanted to be able to do a slow two-step to it.”

Though “Nothing New” is written from the perspective of a girl in the spotlight worrying it’s only a matter a time before a fresher face takes her place (“People love an ingénue,” Swift remarks, a sad line with dry delivery, after Bridgers sings, “Are we only biding time ’til I lose your attention?”), Role Model can empathize with the lyrics as an artist.

“I have said this many times before,” he shares. “People’s attention spans are very short, and they’re getting shorter. I try not to bathe in the attention that I’m getting now in this place of my career, which is, I guess, probably, the best place I’ve been in my career. I try not to shower myself in that because I know people are gonna forget at some point or move on, and there’s gonna be a nice, shinier little Tucker that comes along and outdoes me. I get it. I relate to Miss Taylor.”

Role Model once met Bridgers at Coachella, but humbly assumes she doesn’t remember it. He hasn’t met Swift, though between this performance circulating and his tour with Abrams, he’s arguably now in the pop icon’s orbit, at least tangentially. An opener on Swift’s Eras Tour, Abrams ended up co-writing and recording the Grammy-nominated duet “us.” with her, a highlight on her The Secret of Us album.

Of his hope to meet Swift someday, Role Model, who in February released a few new songs (including “Sally, When the Wine Runs Out,” seen below) via deluxe album Kansas Anymore (The Longest Goodbye), says, “I would love to. I would love to.”

For someone who didn’t really identify as a fan of Swift until “Nothing New,” he’s got a reasonable grasp on the power of Swifties. His polite plea to those who hear his cover: “Just don’t hate me. If you don’t like it, I understand. If you liked it, thank you so much — I’m honored. I’m scared of both of you in the best way, so go easy on me.”

“Send hearts,” he says with optimism, making the signature heart hands Swift’s fandom knows.

Wendy Williams Tells Guardian To ‘Get Off My Neck’ During ‘The View’ Interview, Slams Judge Who Determined She’s ‘Legally Incapacitated’

Wendy Williams called into The View on Friday and opened up about her guardianship experience. The former talk show host voiced her frustration about the facility where she lives while also slamming her guardian Sabrina Morrissey, along with the judge who determined that she is “legally incapacitated.”

“I need a new guardian,” Williams told The View hosts, Variety reported.

Williams, who was transferred from an assisted living facility to a hospital on March 10, said she “was having a little agita.”

“And you know, to go to the hospital… look, where I live, at that memory unit on this floor, you know, I just needed a breath of fresh air. I needed to see the doctors. So that’s why I went to the hospital,” Williams, per Variety.

After leaving the assisted living facility, Williams enjoyed dinner, Deadline reported. According to Williams, the memory care unit initially told her that it was fine to go out for dinner, but then told her that she didn’t have permission. Williams was surrounded by paparazzi as she returned to the facility.

In 2024, Williams’ team said the former talk show host was diagnosed with aphasia, a condition that affects her language and communication skills. They also revealed at that time that she was living with frontotemporal dementia, a condition affecting behavior and cognitive abilities. Williams said she had “blood drawn” from her thyroid when she went to the hospital.

She also said she’s been living on a “locked” memory unit floor and she has not been “permitted to do anything but stay on this floor.”

“The memory unit floor, where the people are 90 and 80 and 70… why am I here?” she said. “You know what I’m saying? Where people don’t remember anything. So I stay in the bedroom the majority of the time. I never go out to eat. I stay in the bedroom.”

Williams defended herself after The View co-host Sunny Hostin read a statement from the lawyer representing Williams’ guardian. According to the statement, Williams’ guardianship was issued by a judge that declared her “legally incapacitated after a diagnosis of frontal temporal dementia.”

“You have not been kept from your family, and you are receiving excellent medical care,” the statement read.

Firing back at the statement, Williams replied, “I need them to get off my neck.”

“These two people don’t look like me, talk like me, act like me…you know, get off my neck! I can’t do it with these two people,” Williams added, per Deadline.

After she previously revealed that she is dealing with substance issues, Williams told The View that she is now making progress with the challenge and she only drank one time during her birthday.

The Wendy Williams Show, which began in 2008, ended in 2022. The show ended after Williams took a leave of absence in 2021 for medical reasons. The talk show host learned at that time that she has health issues related to lymphedema and Graves’ disease, Variety reported.

Diddy’s Sex Trafficking Trial Gets Delayed: Everything We Know So Far, Including A New Indictment

The sex trafficking trial for Sean “Diddy” Combs has been pushed back to May 12, 2025 after it was originally scheduled for a week before. Combs learned about the new date on Friday as he appeared for a hearing on an indictment of forced labor, Deadline reported. Prosecutors brought the forced labor indictment last week, adding to the charges he’s already facing for racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. Combs pled “not guilty” to the latest charge but didn’t say much else during the trial.

The judge said on Friday that Combs’ trial has been pushed back it will take time to litigate the issues. According to the court, the jury will be selected at the end of April and that process could take about three days. The U.S. Attorney’s office met with defense lawyers during Friday’s hearing and discussed the 2016 video footage showing Combs running half-naked in the hallway of a Los Angeles hotel and beating his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.

Prosecutor Mitzi Steiner from the Southern District of New York said there are at least 20 other potential witnesses who could speak on Combs’ case, but they are not unidentified as they are afraid to come forward due to intimidation and possible retribution. Still, Judge Arun Subramanian told Steiner to submit the witnesses’ IDs to the defense next week. The judge said the information must be turned over on a lawyers’-eyes-only basis.
