Lil Rel Howery Bringing ‘Rel Talk’ Comedy Special To Tubi: Watch Exclusive Trailer

Blavity’s Shadow and Act has the exclusive trailer debut for Rel Talk, the upcoming comedy special from Lil Rel Howery.

Here’s the official description:

In Rel Talk, Howery brings his signature humor to Chicago’s What’s Funny Comedy Festival in a hilarious, high-energy stand-up performance, delivering a no-holds-barred set filled with sharp wit, signature storytelling, and unfiltered takes on everything from family and fame to everyday absurdities.

The special is directed by Howery along with Sanicole, and executive produced by Howery, LaToya White and Freeman White. It was filmed during the 2024 What’s Funny Comedy Festival.

Tubi first announced that they’d acquired the comedy special earlier this month.

“With his unfiltered takes, Lil Rel Howery is a comedy powerhouse and his latest special Rel Talk is a perfect example of the high-caliber, exclusive entertainment we’re curating for Tubi viewers,” said Adam Lewinson, Chief Content Officer at Tubi, in a statement at the time. “As we continue to expand our robust unscripted slate, Tubi is committed to delivering fresh, compelling programming that showcases the very best in comedy.”
