Meghan Markle rang in the new year by returning to social media– and dropping the trailer for her new Netflix series.
As Netflix’s logline for the series states, “This inspiring series, produced by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, reimagines the genre of lifestyle programming, blending practical how-to’s and candid conversation with friends, new and old. Meghan shares personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection and highlights how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected. She and her guests roll up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden, and beyond, and invite you to do the same.”
Guests for the series include Roy Choi, Mindy Kaling, Alice Waters, with other chefs and guests set to be featured. The eight-episode season drops on Jan. 15. The project is from Harry and Meghan’s Archewell Productions, which has a first-look deal at the streamer, and Sony Pictures Televison’s The Intellectual Property Corporation.
Executive producers are Meghan, Duchess of Sussex for Archewell, Chanel Pysnik for The Intellectual Property Corporation, Aaron Saidman, Eli Holzman and showrunner Leah Hariton. Michael Steed is the director.

Also, according to ABC News, the Duchess of Sussex rejoined Instagram on Wednesday. She left the app in January 2018 following her engagement to now-husband Prince Harry the previous November, Good Morning America reported.
Using the handle @meghan, Markle’s first Instagram post is a video of the mom of two running on the beach and writing “2025” in the sand. The video, which ABC News reported was filmed by Prince Harry, was filmed near the couple’s home in Montecito, California.
The new account comes after Markle launched one with the handle @AmericanRivieraOrchard. The account, which has been inactive since March, shared several posts on its grid that made up a larger image of a logo, which many thought hinted at a new venture for the former actor.
In 2020, Markle and Prince Harry closed their joint account, @sussexroyal, after stepping down from their senior roles in the British royal family. As part of their departure, they were required to stop using the Sussex Royal brand, Good Morning America reported. The account was launched in 2019 and broke a world record for the fastest time taken to reach 1 million followers on the platform.
Markle shut down her personal account months before her May 2018 wedding to Prince Harry. Prior to that, she ran a blog, The Tig, which she closed in 2017 as her relationship with Prince Harry became more serious.
