The second season of the much-anticipated anime series, Solo Leveling, premiered on Crunchyroll on Saturday. The new season, titled Arise from the Shadow, will stream in the U.S. and the U.K., per Gamesradar. The show will continue on Crunchyroll every Saturday until March.
Solo Leveling season 2, which is expected to feature 13 episodes, is slightly longer than the first season. In this new chapter, viewers will see the next chapter in the story of Sung Jinwoo, also known as “The Weakest Hunter of All Mankind.” The second season, according to the show’s synopsis, features an epic battle between “the beasts inhabiting the dungeons through the gates” and the “human hunters who have awakened the abilities to fight them show no signs of ending.”
“It’s been over ten years since gates that lead to another dimension have begun appearing across the world,” the synopsis states. “The battles between the magic beasts inhabiting the dungeons through the gates and the human hunters who have awakened the abilities to fight them show no signs of ending.”
Jinwoo has earned the role of “Shadow Monarch” in the second season as he commands an army of shadows. As he goes into battle, Jinwoo looks for the Elixir of Life, an ingredient to save his sick mother.
The first episode of season 2 will air at 12:30 PM Eastern and 5:30 PM GMT in the U.K. on Crunchyroll.

It is available on Crunchyroll in the United States, as well as countries in Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS and India, Dexterto noted. The dubbed versions will be released at a later time. In most countries in Asia, it streams on Netflix.
