Noah Wyle leads a team of doctors caring for Pittsburgh’s sick in the trailer for the new Max medical drama series, The Pitt. The series comes to the streamer this January.
The trailer does show how gritty and high-stakes the show intends to be, with scary injuries, nail-biting emergency care and the emotional results when something will inevitably go wrong.

The Pitt a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Each episode follows an hour of Dr. Robby’s (Wyle) 15-hour shift as the chief attendant in Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital’s emergency room

The Pitt is produced by Sky Studios and HBO with John Wells Productions and Warner Bros. Television. Wyle executive produces with R. Scott Gemmill, who will also write the first episode. John wells, Erin Jontow of John Wells Productions, and Simran Baidwan also executive produce.
