The Traitors Season 3 is finally here. After a breakout second season on Peacock which saw Chris “CT” Tamburello and Trishelle Cannatella win the whole thing, its back again. With Alan Cumming back as host, it is another stacked cast of Housewives and other Bravolebrities, Big Brother alums, Survivor alums, The Challenge alums– and everyone in between.
Here’s our breakdown/recap of the major things to know about the first three episodes.
Cumming initially chose Bob the Drag Queen (RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 8 winner), Danielle Reyes (Big Brother legend- runner-up on Big Brother 3, and competed on Big Brother 7 and Big Brother: Reindeer Games) and Carolyn Wiger (Survivor 44 second runner-up).
At the beginning of Episode 1, Cumming gave the group a choice whether or not they wanted Rob “Boston Rob” Mariano to enter the game in the place of someone else, who would immediately get banished. They chose not to. Cumming then told Boston Rob he could enter the game as a Traitor since they did not choose for him to enter the game.
Two Housewives franchise members, Dorinda Medley (The Real Housewives of New Jersey) and Chanel Ayan (The Real Housewives of Dubai) were the first two murdered by The Traitors, who sought out to seek a housewife as their first target with Medley. Ayan ended up in the crosshairs during the next murder.
After getting into it with multiple people at the first roundtable, namely Robyn Dixon, Wells was voted the first person to be banished in a super close vote. At the next banishing, Tony Vlachos was voted out in an overwhelming majority as his Survivor ally Boston Rob turned on him in order to try to take attention from a target being on fellow Traitor, Bob the Drag Queen.
Though we knew Boston Rob would be a part of the cast, two previously announced cast members were introduced at the end of episode 2. Derrick Levasseur (Big Brother 16 winner) and Wes Bergmann (The Challenge legend). Both were selected to be Faithfuls in the game.
The Traitors episodes 301-303 are currently streaming on Peacock, with new episodes airing weekly on Thursdays at 9 p.m.
