Prime Video gave Gamescom fans a surprise with the debut of the Season 2 teaser trailer for Fallout.
The trailer premiered during the Opening Night Live global livestream. The series has already been renewed for a third season.
Based on the popular video game, Fallout is set in a retro-futuristic world in which nuclear war has ruined society and created a new landscape of monsters.
What we know so far about ‘Fallout’ Season 2
According to the official description, the new season will “pick up in the aftermath of Season One’s epic finale and take audiences along for a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas.” Another shock for the fans was seeing the first glimpse of the Deathclaw, one of the wasteland’s most notorious creatures, in the trailer.

Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. Two-hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind—and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.
Who stars in ‘Fallout’ Season 2?
The series stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Zach Cherry, Kyle McLachlan, Moisés Arias, Leslie Uggams, Sarita Choudhury and Erik Estrada, among others. Justin Theroux also joins this season as the ruler of New Vegas, Robert House.
Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serve as creators, producers and executive produce with Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. Kilter Films produces.

The season premieres on Dec. 17 with weekly episodes until Feb. 4, 2026.
