Fans React to Ice Spice Fueling Dating Rumors With New York Jets Star Sauce Gardner

NFL star Sauce Gardner shuts down wide receivers on the field, but the New York Jets cornerback may have locked up Ice Spice off the field.

The Bronx rapper posted a since-deleted selfie to her Instagram on Tuesday (April 29) featuring herself posing with Gardner in front of a mirror.

Billboard has reached out to Ice Spice’s rep for comment.

“Sauce Gardner has been in the NFL 3 years and is a 2x-All Pro, DROY, dating Ice Spice and became a single digit handicap after never playing golf before. That’s a hell of a resume,” one prominentJets fan wrote to X.

The pair has been fueling dating rumors for months after Sauce posted a photo with Ice Spice on Instagram. Earlier in April, the two attended Adin Ross’ boxing event and were awkwardly left hanging on the kiss cam.

They’ve been in the same location a few times — publicly at least — this year, including attending Druski’s Coulda Been Love series premiere at iPic in Manhattan as well as the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscars event in Los Angeles.

Gardner was drafted by the New York Jets fourth overall in the 2022 NFL Draft. He’s since made the All-Pro team twice in his first three years and should soon be one of the league’s highest paid cornerbacks if the Jets decide to give him a contract extension.

Ice Spice has laid low on the music front for 2025 so far. She delivered her Y2K! deluxe on Christmas and is gearing up for her acting debut alongside Denzel Washington and A$AP Rocky in Spike Lee’s Highest 2 Lowest.
