Anyma “Quantum (Intro)” (Unreleased)
Anyma brought his signature show to Ibiza’s newest club, [UNVRS], playing the first night of his summer residency on July 8.
Dubbed “Quantum,” the performance was loaded with melodic techno, laced with technology-centric visuals and crowded by friends, with Swiss duo Adriatique and Swedish producer Son Of Son, both previous Anyma collaborators, playing as support for the show, which was also attended by fellow Ibiza resident Solomun and Yann Pissenem, founder and CEO of The Night League, the company behind [UNVRS] and fellow Ibiza mega-clubs Hï and Ushuaïa.
Anyma’s 33-track set included largely unreleased original music and remixes by him and a flurry of other artists including Jast, Goom Gum, Baset, Cassian, Layton Giordani and more, with many of these artists previously performing at, or having their music played at, shows from Afterlife, the global event series of which Anyma is a cofounder.
A good deal of the music played on Tuesday also came from Anyma’s May album, The End of Genesys, with many of these songs also getting rinsed during his residency at Sphere Las Vegas in late 2024 and early 2025.
In a recent interview with Billboard, the producer born Matteo Milleri said the music on this new album is “the final evolution of the sound with the best artists I know, most of whom are my friends. It’s inspiring that I could connect all my knowledge and influences into a record and make it contemporary and potentially timeless. That’s not up to me, but I think some of this record is really timeless, and that’s what really exciting.”
