Deon Cole Forced To Evacuate Home Amid LA Wildfires Right After Being Discharged From Hospital

Although he chose not to divulge specific information regarding this health, Cole published another post on Saturday to tell his followers that was forced to evacuate his home due to the wildfires. His post was accompanied by a video showing the fires approaching his neighborhood.

“This day is devastating!!!! Left the hospital earlier, sick af, went home, then had to packed what I could to evacuate,” he wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “As I drove away I seen the fire rising from behind my house, It’s a nightmare!!!”

Although he didn’t have much time to pack his belongings before evacuating, Cole made sure to grab the flowers his mother gave him before she died. In fact, the blue flowers seen in  Cole’s post are the exact flowers from his mother.

Several celebrities commented on Cole’s social media posts to wish him well as he faces a challenging week.

“Prayer warriors on deck ASAP,” Jamie Foxx wrote, per People.

Busta Rhymes also shared kind words, saying “Happy Born Day and wishing you a healthy recovery King!”

Nick Cannon, Kenya Barris, Patti LaBelle and Lamorne Morris also commented.

At least 16 people have died in the wildfires in Los Angeles, per the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office. Many more people are also injured due to the fires. While the fires continue to spread, more than 100,000 people are facing evacuation orders, ABC News reported.
