Anthony Rico, one of Sean “Diddy” Combs‘ attorneys, has decided to part ways with the disgraced hip-hop mogul. Rico shared his decision in a motion filed in a New York Federal Court on Friday, USA Today reported.
“Although I have provided Sean Combs with the high level of legal representation expected by the court, under no circumstances can I continue to effectively serve as counsel for Sean Combs,” Ricco wrote, per USA Today.
Voletta Wallace, the mother of the iconic rapper Notorious B.I.G., has died at age 72 due to natural causes. According to People, the Monroe County Coroner confirmed that Wallace died at her home on Friday as she was under hospice care.

Fontaines D.C. have dropped “It’s Amazing To Be Young,” their first slice of new material since the release of fourth LP Romance last August.
Produced by James Ford, the song will be available on limited edition 7” vinyl on April 18, alongside another new track entitled “Before You I Just Forget.” The release is available to preorder now via the Dublin band’s website.
“It’s Amazing To Be Young” was written in the presence of guitarist Carlos O’Connell’s child, the band have shared. “It sounded more like a lullaby or a music box then, but with the same lyric – ‘it’s amazing to be young’,” explained bassist Conor Deegan III in a press release.

“The feeling of hope a child can give is profound and moving, especially for young men like us. That sense of wanting to create a world for them to grow up in happily,” he continued. ”It’s a feeling that fights against the cynicism that can often overtake us in the modern world. So we wanted to declare which side we were on – it really is amazing to be young.

“We are still free, and want to make that feeling spread,” he continued. “We want to protect it for the others around us, and maybe in doing that, we can also help protect it for ourselves.”
The track precedes a huge summer of live activity for Fontaines D.C., who will perform U.K. outdoor shows in Manchester, Newcastle, Cardiff and London, with the latter taking place at the capital’s 45,000-capacity Finsbury Park. The run will follow spring headline tours around Asia, Australia, South America and North America.
It arrives accompanied by a video from the BAFTA-winning filmmaker Luna Carmoon who previously directed the videos for Fontaines D.C.’s “Here’s The Thing” and “In The Modern World”. Watch the clip in full below.

Andrew Lester, who pleaded guilty to felony assault in the second degree for shooting 16-year-old Ralph Yarl in 2023, has died.
According to ABC News, he was awaiting sentencing at the time of his death, which was announced on Wednesday by Clay County Prosecuting Attorney Zachary Thompson.
“We have learned of the passing of Andrew Lester and extend our sincere condolences to his family during this difficult time,” Thompson said. “While the legal proceedings have now concluded, we acknowledge that Mr. Lester did take responsibility for his actions by pleading guilty in this case. Our thoughts remain with both families affected by this tragic incident as they continue their healing process.”
The 86-year-old Kansas City, Missouri, man was to appear in court this week after entering a guilty plea to the lesser charge of second-degree assault at a hearing on Friday and expected to be sentenced in a hearing on March 7, per ABC.
The outlet reported that Thompson said during a press conference after the 10-minute hearing that second-degree assault, a Class D felony, has a prison sentence of up to seven years.
Blavity reported that Lester pleaded not guilty to one count of felony assault in the first degree and one count of armed criminal action after shooting Yarl in the head, who he believed was trying to break into his home after the teen arrived at the wrong address to pick up his younger siblings from a play date. Yarl survived the shooting but suffered a traumatic brain injury.
Yarl’s family told ABC News, “The news of Andrew Lester’s passing brings a mix of emotions, but it does not bring justice.” In a statement, the family said, “justice was never truly served.”
They added, “We remain committed to seeking a world where no child fears for their life because of their race, and no family has to endure what we have. Ralph’s story is far from over, and neither is our fight for justice.”
